- AC motor with frequency variator for speed from 3 to 30 m/min with digital readout of the setting parameters
- All rolls are reinforced by means of back up rolls
- Life lubrication of all bearings and oil splashing of the transmission give low costs of maintenance
- A crocodile system ensures the head opening and gives an easy cleaning of the rolls
- Straightening rolls are hardened to 60 Rck and ground to a high grade
- Loop control is included
The 1684 straighteners are fitted with 9 straightening rolls diameter 65 mm and 2 driving rolls diameter 100 mm
