DIMECO ALIPRESSE was formed in 1967 as a manufacturer of coil-handling equipment to respond to the demand of stamping industry starting to use material in coil. The company soon became a European leader in its field thanks to the creation of FLEXILINES concept, ie, flexible production line using new coil materials. In order to take on board the large diversity of the techniques required, DIMECO ALIPRESSE, within DIMECO Group, works in relationship with 5 subsidiaries developing complementary fields of activity.

The important dates :

1957 - Foundation of SARL A. CHANARD ET C° by Messrs. Jean Chanard et Georges Jeanney. Mr Jeanney manages this company in order to develop the machine tool and tooling business.
1965 - Company’s status changes and becomes DIMECO SA standing for «La DIffusion MEcanique COmtoise.
1967 - Foundation of Dimeco Alipresse for press feed line development.
1973 - Erection of the Pirey plant, for Alipresse (today’s surface is 8000 sqm).
1977 - Dimeco-Alipresse becomes a subsidiary company managed by the group president : Georges Jeanney.
1988 - Foundation of a subsidiary company in Spain : Diseno Mecanica Y Construccion.
1994 - Purchase of the PROVOT PROFIL company (roll-forming).
1998 - Purchase of the MIB HYDRO company (special hydraulic presses).
2004 - Opening of a selling office in Moscow, Russia
2004 - Laurent Deschamps becomes President of Dimeco-Alipresse and its subsidiaries.
2007 - Foundation of DIMECO ALIPRESSE subsidiary in Russia.
2008 : Création DIMECO do BRAZIL, filiale de DIMECO Alipresse
